n 1958, the United States Air Force created a top-secret program designed to detonate a nuclear bomb on the Moon. That precarious effort, Project A119, is the inspiration for a beer in which we “reach for the moon”. No traditional concept of beer is safe as we construct an Imperial Dark Ale steeped with grilled cocoa nibs, jalapeños, and a few top-secret ingredients. Some projects deservedly stay hidden for 45 years and some enjoy the light much sooner!
