Big Green Egg Barbecue Bash
This Halloween, forgo the candy and enjoy instead a casual barbecue on PRESS Patio, overlooking the lush private pool at Four Seasons Hotel Las Vegas, and featuring guest chef Jack Arnold of Snake River Farms, Big Green Egg and locally-based Able Baker Brewing. The family-friendly evening begins at 6:00 pm on Thursday, October 31, 2019, and guests are encouraged to come in costume.
“So many Halloween events on The Strip are geared toward adults; we wanted to create an alternative option ideal for families and fit for foodies,” says Director of Food & Beverage Josh Loving Aaronson.
The evening features an “East meets West” menu, with stations highlighting regional Asian and American specialties:
Eastern
Choose from Korean kalbi short beef and ribeye bulgogi beef, accompanied by Napa cabbage kimchi and kimchi fried rice. Braised red-cooked pork belly and slow-cooked pork ribs with black bean sauce are paired with pickled carrots and radish, and vegetable chow fun. Thai beef sirloin satay with coconut lemongrass peanut sauce, pad Thai noodles and Vietnamese brisket pho round out the “Eastern” menu.
Western
American barbecue favorites include smoked baby back ribs with maple barbecue sauce, bacon-wrapped kurobuta pork tenderloin with hot Dijon potatoes, and American gold-grade ribeye beef carpaccio with horseradish cream-fried capers, sieved eggs, and wild arugula. Also featured is kurobuta “green eggs and ham” and coffee-rubbed American gold-grade beef brisket. Accompanying sides include red-bliss smashed garlic potatoes, barbecue baked beans, three-cheese baked macaroni casserole and green-apple coleslaw. For a sweet finale, a dessert station will offer s’mores cooked to order and homemade gelato.
The event costs $55 per adult and $25 per child (age 10 and younger). For reservations, call 702 632 5121.
